Mileage46,451Service Date6/19/2026Services Performed- Check for codes and found code P3075 present for insufficient coolant flow. Check coolant pump flow specs and found to be low. Also noted that data showed cooling fans commanded off but are clearly running. As vehicle continued to run found that electric water pump came up to spec and was working properly. Pressure test cooling system and found upper radiator hose quick disconnect causing coolant leak and allowing air pockets to form in cooling system. Replace upper radiator hose assembly and top off coolant as needed. Clear code and recheck operation – ok at this time.

2012 Ford Edge

Remove engine front cover, valve train oil tubes, timing chain tensioner, arm, guides, and timing chain to access and replace water pump assembly. Replace spark plugs, timing chain, tensioner, guides, and gaskets. Re-assemble necessary parts. Replenish with O.E coolant. Bleed coolant system. Road test vehicle.

- Tune engine remove coils to acess and replace spark plugs with original O-E spark plugs. Reassemble and reset all codes and values in ecm.

- Rotate tires and set tire pressure.
- Check brake fluid for moisture and contamination. Inspect all hydraulic line and hoses. Inspect calipers and wheel cylinders. Inspect master cylinder and cap. Flush entire brake system including master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders until clean.
- Visually inspect hoses, clamps, and belt, also pressure test cooling system for leaks. Drain and fill radiator with up to 1 gallon Of O-E eqivelent antifreeze.
